After I started this blog in 2008, I posted on it about 5 or so times. At this point, I am positive that no one is reading this. However, I came across my old blog posts tonight and really enjoyed reading them. For this reason, I am starting the ol' blog up again -- not because I think anyone is really interested in reading about my life, but for myself...so I can look back on my posts and laugh in two years. It's good fun!
So, here's a quick rewind of what I have been up to for the past 21 months:
1. Remember those practicum applications I was trudging through the snow to mail out? They got there safely, and I ended up with an advanced practicum position at Cook County Hospital. This turned out to be my favorite practicum ever! If the stars align, I would love to have a job there someday!
2. Following her "bachette" in Miami, Tesha and Tommy got hitched -- it was super fun. The quote book made an appearance, of course!
3. Craig "engaged me" on 12.19.08. We are getting married on 10.02.10!
4. I applied for internship. I flew all over the country for interviews. I matched at a site in Miami, FL I cried for a long time.
5. Cayce is still super good at keeping in touch. She visited me in Miami. (I still haven't been to Texas!)
6. At some point during the internship application process I bought a new desk chair. I wouldn't have survived otherwise.
7. Amy Winehouse is still on crack.
8. I still love Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, and I am OBSESSED with Lady Gaga.
That's about it. Now that this thing is somewhat up-to-date, I am going to try my very hardest to post more often! If for no other reason than to make myself laugh!

In case you didn't catch on, I live in Miami now. I have been here for 7 months -- 5 more to go! I'll catch you up on the whole Miami debacle, aka "The Year of the Lizard," later. :)
